The Road begins

This is the first post on my new blog. I begin my internship on May 20th . I am working at Atlanta Shirt company this summer and some of my task are helping with adverting and work on new ways to expand the business

For the week of June 1st through the 7th i was able to attend a marketing meeting and learn new ways to help with adverting a product .Some of the things that i learned was how social media rose to the top and was able to be as dominant as it is .

For the week of June 20th through the 27th I have been working on adding new things to the ig pages .As of right now i am currently working improving Instagram pages to add more designs

For the 2nd week of July I was able to attend another seminar that talked about the correct way to distribute a product .This was something that helped a lot and i was able to be giving plenty of different types of new and fun ways to do so

For my 3rd week of July some of the things that i am working on currently are still improving certain things on Facebook and Instagram pages .

Coming into my closing weeks i am still learning new ways about the marketing side of social media .

For my last week of of the internship some of the things that i have done was get together some photos for the future .Some of these photos will be used to help in the future with the company.

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
